First attempt at a short story, "A long and protracted
day", published in the special journal on the occasion of "Welcome to Freshies", Silapakorn University, Bangkok.

Introducing "Concrete Poetry" with his pioneering
work published in the "Chor-Fah" – the leading monthly literary magazine.

organized by the Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok.

Tang Chang"s life and works, published by the
Quarant Magazine of Australia.

Tang Chang"s poetry and some selected writings, published by some leading literary journals of Asia.

Tang Chang, interviewed by Bob Noor of the U.P.I., selected drawings and paintings documented and noted worldwide, as a result.


1971
Tang Chang – Representing Thailand, by virtue of
his literary accomplishment, invited to participate in
the Congress of Orientalists, 1971, Canberra, Australia.

Invited guest lecturer, a development course
attended by Buddhist Monks and Students Development Unit, Jittaphawan Buddhist College, Bang-Lamung district, Cholburi province.

The Association of Thai Students in Canberra requested permission to publish Tang Chang"s Avand Guard literary works in their publication, and for wider dissemination in Australia. Permission granted.

"Look East" magazine published Tang Chang"s concrete poetry, and his paintings, making his works better known around the world.


1974
Initiated a public art project for children, "Murals by
Children", sponsored by the Goethe Institute Bangkok, on Phra Athit Road, Bangkok.

1975
Appointed a member of the "Committee on Fine
Arts", for the publication of an official Encyclopedia, Children and Youth Edition, a national project initiated by His Majesty the King.

1978
A subject for a Graduate Student"s thesis on
"Critical Analysis of Tang Chang"s Literary Works", conducted by Sinchai Sooksawang, Faculty of Education, Sri-Nakarindaraviroj University, Bangkok.

A subject for an undergraduate thesis, entitled "Tang Chang"s Writings – A Critical Analysis", conducted by a senior from the Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok.

Dr. Waldemar C. Sailer, published a special publication "Angel"s Poetry", which included Tang Chang"s collection of concrete poetry, entitled "Tang Chang, the Kingdom"s concrete Poetry Master".

1980
A subject for another undergraduate thesis, entitled
"Tang Chang : An analysis of his writings", conducted by a student at Kasetsart University, Bangkok.

Professor Fu Jeong Yeo of Peking University,
requested Tang Chang"s biography to be included in the official Directory of Outstanding Academics (Chinese Descendents) in Thailand, particularly those who excelled in poetry.

"Outstanding Achievements Award" conferred by the President of India"s International Poet Academy, at the 10th World Poets Conference, held in Thailand, in recognition of his significant contribution to the world of poetry.
