ในวาระครบรอบ 36 ปีแห่งการจากไปของ จ่าง แซ่ตั้ง (26 สิงหาคม 2533 - 26 สิงหาคม 2569) พิพิธภัณฑ์จ่าง แซ่ตั้ง ขอเชิญร่วมกิจกรรม Preserving กิจกรรมพิเศษที่เปิดให้สาธารณชนได้เข้ามาสัมผัส เบื้องหลังการทำงานด้านการอนุรักษ์ผลงานศิลปกรรมของจ่าง แซ่ตั้ง เป็นครั้งแรก
การดูแลผลงานศิลปะไม่ได้จบลงเมื่อผลงานถูกจัดแสดง หากแต่เป็นกระบวนการที่ต้องอาศัยทั้งความรู้ ความละเอียดอ่อน และการตัดสินใจในทุกขั้นตอน กิจกรรมครั้งนี้จึงชวนทุกคนมาทำความรู้จักกับการทำงานของนักอนุรักษ์ผ่าน ประสบการณ์จริงของพิพิธภัณฑ์จ่าง แซ่ตั้ง ตั้งแต่การสังเกตและทำความเข้าใจวัสดุ สภาพของผลงาน ไปจนถึงคำถามว่าเราจะดูแลผลงานเหล่านี้ให้คงอยู่ต่อไปได้อย่างไร
ภายในกิจกรรม ผู้เข้าร่วมจะได้ร่วม นำชมพิพิธภัณฑ์ ฟังการแลกเปลี่ยนกับ ญานิศา ทองฉาย หัวหน้านักอนุรักษ์ และร่วมกิจกรรมเชิงปฏิบัติการขนาดเล็ก เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้ได้ลองสัมผัสกระบวนการอนุรักษ์ด้วยตนเอง

Commemorating 36 Years Since the Passing of Tang Chang
On the occasion of the 36th anniversary of Tang Chang’s passing, The Tang Chang Private Museum invites you to Preserving, a special programme dedicated to the conservation of Tang Chang’s artworks.
For the first time, the museum opens up its behind-the-scenes conservation work to the public, offering a closer look at how Tang Chang’s artworks are examined, cared for, and preserved.
The programme begins with a guided tour of the museum and exhibition, followed by a conversation with Yanisa Thongchai, Chief Conservator, who will share her experience working with Tang Chang’s artworks and the challenges involved in their conservation. Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in a small hands-on workshop, offering a practical introduction to the processes and considerations involved in conservation.
Rather than seeing conservation simply as the preservation of objects, Preserving invites us to consider conservation as a process of looking closely, understanding materials and conditions, and making careful decisions about how an artwork can be cared for and passed on to future generations.
